Established in 2009 by Lyn Norfor, Sheila Jayadev and Prue Williams, Emerald Productions is a boutique production company specialising in working with new talent and bringing bold projects to the screen.
Emerald has produced a slate of award-winning films that have screened at numerous international film festivals, won the highest honours at the Sydney and Melbourne International Film Festivals and have been nominated for a number of Australian Academy Awards. We pride ourselves on working with some of Australia’s most exciting emerging writers and directors.

SHEILA JAYADEV
Sheila is a producer with a background in entertainment law. She produced the award-winning feature film Ali's Wedding in 2016 and prior to this produced a number of acclaimed short films. Sheila has worked in development at Scott Free, Ridley Scott’s London-based production company, and also as a Development Executive for Screen NSW and Screen Australia. Passionate about telling diverse stories, Sheila has written and directed various short form productions which have screened at film festivals internationally. Sheila currently also works as features development producer for Matchbox Pictures.
LYN NORFOR
An experienced producer, Lyn's credits encompass drama and documentary film and television productions. She produced the feature film Undertow (2018) which is premiering at the Melbourne International Film Festival and Hot Mess (2018) which screened at the Seattle International Film Festival.
Lyn has produced numerous award-winning short films including Perception, funded by Screen Australia, that won the top short film prize at the Sydney Film Festival with its international premiere at Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Lyn is passionate about working with new, diverse storytellers and directors.
PRUE WILLIAMS
Prue has executive produced the Emerald short and feature film slate. She is the co-founder of a commercial property development and investment company specialising in the adaptive re-use of old and heritage buildings, and has over 25 years of experience in private equity raising, investment analysis, finance, acquisitions, investment structures, development management and project marketing. Prue is a graduate of the Centre for Screen Business at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
